Human Resource Development
Human Resource Development as a constituent element of economic and social development has always represented one of the CEI’s top priority areas.
CEI cooperation in this area pays special attention to activities aimed at promoting the dissemination of the concept and contemporary methodologies in the field of life-long learning, including vocational training and adult education.
Enhancing employability of specific “sensitive” groups, young people and adults, as well as further development of the CEI University Network, also represent strong target areas.
In this field the CEI focuses on the following priority areas fully outlined in the CEI Plan of Action 2010-2012:
- Education and Training Supporting Employability
- Implementation of Lifelong Learning
- Support to the CEI University Network and Education
Projects and activities are supported through various funds and instruments:
- Cooperation Fund for small scale multilateral projects i.e. conferences, seminars, workshops, training courses
- Know–How Exchange Programme for projects related to capacity building related to specific HRD issues and transfer of good practice to the non –EU CEI Member States.
- CEI University Network for post - graduate level studies i.e. Master's courses, PHD courses, Summer Schools, Seminars and Workshops.
